Through her blogs, articles, and newsletters, Denise O’Berry has long been a favorite resource for terrific information about starting, managing, and growing a small business. It didn’t surprise me to learn that she’d written a book about Cash Flow, but what did surprise me is that the book kept me turning to the next page, and the next, and the next!
Denise approaches all aspects of cash flow management as it relates to small business and turns mysterious concepts into easy reading. She tackles subjects like accounting principles, ways to pump cash into your business, hidden cash flow resources, preparing a cash flow statement, and much more, breaking them down into easy to understand components.
Cash flow is often misunderstood and the importance of it is often underestimated by small business entrepreneurs. This is a wonderful ‘Cash Flow Management Primer’. If you’re an accountant or professional financial advisor, this book is probably not for you. But if you’re a small business entrepreneur wearing many hats and wanting to gain a comprehensive understanding of Cash Flow concepts as they relate to your business, this book needs to be in your resource library.
