The economy seems like it’s trying to recover a bit, but no matter what happens, cash flow is and always has been a big issue for small business. I know I’ve been writing about small business cash flow issues since 2004 and there were plenty who have come before me.
Check out any poll that includes a question about financing or cash flow and it will typically be the highest selection. On one poll over at Small Business Trends, that’s definitely the case. The poll asks, What is the biggest obstacle holding your business back from growing? and over 60% of the respondents indicated lack of funding or insufficient cash flow.
So it’s with caution that we look at the current economy and business news. Here are some of my favorites from this past week:
